Best Practice integration

PAT includes software that can be installed at your practice to integrate with your practice software.

  1. Log in to the server where Best Practice is installed
  2. Create a folder where PAT will place completed care plans that are to be imported into Best Practice

  3. Go to the Best Practice Configuration screen

  4. In the Database section enable external clinical data acces

  5. In the Results Import section enable import of reports

  6. Click Add to select the folder created in step 2

  7. Click Save

  8. Log in to PAT as an administrator, click on the Settings tab, and then on Practice Sync

  9. Select Best Practice as the source of patient data

  10. Click Save

  11. Click on the link to download the Practice Software integration component

  12. Save and run the downloaded file

  13. Click Browse and select the folder created in step 2

  14. Click Activate

    screen

  15. The status should change to Connected

    screen

  16. Go back to the PAT application and refresh the page. After a few minutes contact with the practice server should be confirmed.

  17. Confirm that you can now add practice patients through PAT
